A sleek Pony is a very easy, chic, yet classic hairstyle. I love to wear this style ponytail on my “dirty” hair day.
Products used: Oribe Rock Hard Gel , Mason Pearson Boars Head Brush, France Luxe Ponytail Cuff
1. Apply a dab of the Oribe Rock Hard gel to a paper towel
2. Squeeze out a dime size dab of the Oribe Rock Hard gel into your hands and rub both together.
3. Flip your head upside down and smoth your hair into a ponytail using your boars head brush to smooth away any bumps.
4. Flip you head back up and check to ensure you have a smooth pony at your desired height.
5. Tie your Ponytail Cuff around elastic (if your hair is really thick use a regular elastic first and then the cuff).
6. Now this is wear we use the gel we applied to the paper towel. Apply the gel to your hairline and smooth back towards your pony tail. This will smooth down any flyaway’s and add sheen look to the hairstyle.
** The Oribe Rock Hard gel is a great product to blow-dry in the hair as well if you opt for a softer style ponytail. You would style it this way this if you wanted to set the hair without a lot of shine**
