The surplus of 100% spandex skinny jeans in stores from Target to Nordstrom officially made jean hunting a whole lot easier. But all of a sudden it seems that skinnies are being replaced by a more comfortable ‘boyfriend fit’ denim, or as some call them… mom jeans. I must say it took me a while to get into the skinny jean trend, but now it seems I own nothing else. I have never been brave enough to try on a pair of loose fit jeans, assuming I would instantly age 30 years, but I guess what my mother told me was true… everything comes back in style. I gathered some outfit inspiration to make the transition a bit more painless– but the question stands, is skinny jean wearing America really ready to make way for the mom jean?
